SmartFreight® is delighted to announce that it will be officially unveiling the latest version of its leading multi-carrier shipping platform at this year’s IntraLogisteX Show.

Held on the 27th and 28th of February at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the exhibition will be an excellent opportunity for SmartFreight to showcase its latest enhancements, further helping UK companies achieve greater visibility over their supply chains.

IntraLogisteX is a comprehensive forum for the latest cutting edge supply chain technology and looks to address the critical issues facing retailers and other UK businesses. Multi-carrier shipping software in particular is leading the way in addressing many of those challenges, such as improving final mile delivery, increasing visibility and reducing overall transport costs, while building the bottom line.

SmartFreight’s enhanced platform works to provide users a choice between the best carriers across the UK, allowing them in turn to offer the best customer with experience. It runs on any device with any operating system and has been further enhanced to now be available on or off a customer’s premises. It can also host a tracking portal that displays all of a company’s carrier tracking events. SmartFreight is fully scalable to meet the needs of everything from a start-up ecommerce business to large multinational operations with global distribution centres.

Ben Woodward, Channel Manager at SmartFreight, said: “We’re proud of how we’ve been able to provide shipping solutions for clients of all sizes and it’s a process we want to grow further in the UK. Since we began in Australia in 1997, we’ve focused on creating software that encourages ever greater levels of versatility, transparency, accountability and efficiency. Our solution is about empowering our clients to choose dependable and affordable shipping solutions for their needs and we are excited to see how we can be of benefit to the UK supply chain sector.”

SmartFreight currently has more than 16,000 users shipping more than 75 million items each year. It works with some 6,500 transport providers, shipping into 195 countries around the world, moving cargo valued at over £450m each year.
