Our roundup of the event

Multimodal provides the perfect opportunity for exploring the industry in the present day and what it has to offer. FORWARDER took the time to schedule interviews with companies that represent different areas of the industry. Speaking to those from all different areas of the supply chain, FORWARDER had chance to have a sit-down conversation with some of the most innovative and exciting projects to date.

Aware that we were covering the Multimodal 2019 event, we wanted to provide our audience with something a little bit different. Something slightly outside the box, as well as complementing our online presence. We are always interested in hearing about what the industry has to offer – we know our readers are too Furthermore, we are always keen to hear how the magazine is received by our readers, so we also took this opportunity to ask your opinion on our pride and joy.

Crossing our media platforms allowed us to reach different forms of content: editorial and video. You can access our videos on our website or YouTube channel.

speaking to Gravity Supply Chain

Gravity Supply Chain with Dave Graham, Head of One Commercial Team

Gravity is a cloud-based business network and execution platform for supply chain management and global trade. We offer a suite of apps built for today’s mobile and ‘always-on’ workforce that simplifies the planning, execution and optimization of your end-to- end supply chain, regardless of company size, industry or vertical. In short, we eliminate the clutter so you can focus on what matters most – serving your customers.

FORWARDER had the chance to speak to Dave Graham, who enlightened us about Gravity Supply Chain. We spoke about how technology is changing the freight industry, and we are now transporting goods in a much more digitalised world. Having all your eggs in one basket (or, on one software, should I say) isn’t always a bad rule to live by. The supply chain is as fast-paced and can be incredibly complex in terms of communication between sectors.
