Logistics Reply has created a new Online Cloud-Based Supplier Portal for M&S Food.
Logistics Reply has worked with Marks & Spencer to create an Online Supplier Portal which can be used by its food suppliers, which will allow incoming supplier product to become instantly visible to M&S as soon as it is despatched from each supplier’s despatch location.
The Supplier Portal was created and developed by Logistics Reply in just 4 months using its agile software development platform LEA Reply (‘Logistics Execution Architecture’) – and has been specifically designed for ease-of-use, quick setup and to eradicate manual data input from suppliers to minimise potential human error for M&S.
Logistics Reply will contract individually with each supplier who chooses to use the Supplier Portal, and Reply will install / train on-site at each despatch location.
Suppliers will use mobile scanners to scan product data into the cloud-based online portal and instantly create M&S-compliant ASN’s, SSCC’s and Transport Manifests in both electronic and print versions.
“In my opinion, working with Reply has delivered a highly collaborative, efficient and accurate way of working for us as M&S and also our supplier base. They’ve been able to review our processes and systems and deliver us something that really changes the way Suppliers work with us, and for us.”
Lee Warner (M&S Fresh Food Supply Chain Manager)
“This is the smoothest IT implementation in the history of M&S.”
Syd Reid (M&S Director of Food Supply Chain and Logistics)
“We are delighted to be working with M&S Food and their Suppliers, to help them increase product visibility along the supply chain for M&S head office and stores“
