RHA National Lorry Week 2018

Now in its fourth year, the Road Haulage Association’s National Lorry Week 2018 runs from 15-21 September.

The week will see RHA members around the UK taking the opportunity to highlight the importance of the industry responsible for moving 98% of the UK economy and it’s a great opportunity for the haulage industry to promote itself in schools, colleges and town centres and other communal areas around the UK.

Everyone in the country relies on the goods that appear on the shelves in shops and supermarkets but how many ever stop to wonder how the goods got there in the first place? National Lorry Week will help explain.

This year the RHA is particularly pleased to welcome Lorry Week core partners Goodyear Tyres, Snap Account and Driver Hire who are supporting the campaign nationwide.

And as part of the Association’s close collaboration with eyesight experts Vision Express to promote eye health, the amazing Vision Van kicks off Lorry Week with an appearance at TruckFest North West at Knutsford’s Cheshire Showground. Good eyesight is essential for HGV drivers so if you’re at the Show then make sure you visit the Vision Van for your free eye test.

We know that the haulage industry if the life-blood of the country – we want to make sure the rest of the country knows it too so we’re calling on RHA members to help us promote their industry and attract the next generation of workers.

National Lorry Week is a campaign in which everyone can get involved.
