Emirates will increase number of flights from London Heathrow to Dubai over the Christmas period \tA380 services from London Gatwick to Dubai will operate a two-class configuration on certain flights \tThe changes have been made following exceptional customer demand Emirates, a global connector of people, places and economies, has announced that it will be operating extra flights between London and Dubai this Christmas. The changes have been implemented to support the thousands of passengers travelling during the busy holiday season. Emirates will operate six additional flights between London Heathrow and Dubai starting on 15th December; EK 2641 will depart from Dubai at 15:15 and arrive at London Heathrow at 19:15, EK 2642 will depart from London Heathrow at 21:10 and arrive in Dubai at 8:00 the following day. The new flights will be available on the following dates: \tFriday 15 December 2017 \tSaturday 16 December 2017 \tSunday 17 December 2017 \tFriday 05 January 2018 \tSaturday 06 January 2018 \tSunday 07 January 2018 \t The additional flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-300 ER, bringing 4320 additional seats to the route. Alongside the additional flights between Heathrow and Dubai, Emirates has also announced that some of its flights between Gatwick and Dubai will be operated by a two-class A380 (Business and Economy) due to high demand during the peak travel season. Emirates will also continue to offer its iconic First Class product from Gatwick throughout the festive period.
