CenGlobal, the Cargowise Services division of CenGroup, has launched a groundbreaking delivery management app that will provide total end-to-end automation of the entire delivery process for customers.

Offering a comprehensive suite of dynamic features such as delivery and collection management as well as proof of delivery, CenGlobal’s newly introduced app will also automate route optimisation and driver management processes – providing customers both existing and new with greater control and visibility.

The application will ultimately empower CenGlobal customers to book their own collections and deliveries on a user-friendly single interface, allowing for easy scheduling and coordination while also offering geofencing functionality – enabling businesses and customers to track the real-time location of a delivery, while also receiving regular milestone updates, as it approaches the designated delivery or collection point.  It will also offer barcode scanning and RFID to further ensure greater accuracy throughout the delivery process.

Compatible with both Android and IOS devices, the delivery management app also contains a portal which integrates with logistics and supply chain solutions platform, Cargowise – for which CenGlobal is a Platinum Service Provider – along with most other mainstream logistics management systems.

It is believed to be one of the first delivery management applications of its kind that specifically integrates with Cargowise as well as other similar solutions.

CenGlobal’s new app is also compatible with the company’s in-cab tablet device, Centab, which encompasses both navigation and communication functionality.

Real-time data exchange between Cargowise and the app will enable dynamic route adjustments based on live traffic conditions, weather updates, and unforeseen obstacles, ensuring that deliveries are not only on time but also cost-effective. This enhanced level of transparency is tipped to prove invaluable for proactively addressing issues by making informed decisions while also mitigating risk.

Through creating an integrable solution that links directly with Cargowise, CenGlobal’s app eliminates the need for extensive customisation or the acquisition of new hardware and software.
