Allports Group continue their long-standing partnership with George H Kime & Co. Ltd as they supply new Double Deck Trailers and Citi Loaders to the business to support the expansion of George Kime’s Pallet Network Division.

Allports Group have played a pivotal role in supplying George Kime with the best vehicle and trailer solutions in the industry for the past 20 years.
The new trailers are the first ENXL rated Maxidek trailers to be supplied. The New Deker Maxidek ENXL is a unique solution using standard curtains coupled with load containment nets. When compared with ENXL rated curtains this enables better stowage and easier operation of curtains for the driver when loading and unloading trailers, particularly in the high-speed pallet hub environment.

Nigel Kime, Managing Director at George H Kime & Co, said: “We have already bought two Citi Loaders from Allports Group and we are now hiring a third and plan on a fourth to add to our fleet. We have also purchased two new Double Deck Trailers which brings this fleet to 11 in total.
“As we continue to expand, the value of a solid partnership with a supplier is vital, so we are lucky to have an established relationship with Allports Group. We can rely on them to provide quality products, fantastic service and fast solutions catered to our needs. Our relationship helps us to carry goods efficiently throughout the UK and Europe for our customers.”

George H Kime & Co. plan to expand their offering over the next year and will begin with a new depot in Lincolnshire. This will add to their distribution centres in Wrangle, Sleaford and an existing depot in Lincolnshire.

Paul Sanders, Managing Director at Allports Group, said: “Our commitment to serve commercial vehicle operators throughout the UK with quality products and services is top of our priority list, so it makes our job worthwhile when we receive great feedback from our customers, telling us we are doing just that. Our friendship with George H Kime & Co spans 20 years; we look forward to continuing this partnership and supporting George Kime in further expanding this division of their business.”

George H Kime & Co. also plan to purchase an extra-long trailer from Allports Group in the next few months to add to their growing business.
